What is your idea of perfect happiness?
Perfect happiness is not attainable in the world that we live. So my idea of perfect happiness is an alternate universe where everyone accepts the differences of everyone else, and the worlds are in perfect harmony. (I also think this will be the most boring place ever.)
What is your greatest fear?
My greatest fear is being on my deathbed and my children have not realized their true potential. As long as they have tried, then they, and I, are successful.
What trait do you like least about yourself?
It depends on the day. Many of my traits frustrate me to no end. Then I deal, and move on.
Which historical figure do you most identify with?
Who is someone you’ve met at Indiana State you’ll remember the rest of your life?
The list is long, so I’ll keep it short: Derrick Bowman, Nora Carol Hopkins, along with several individuals in the math department. As for students not studying math, I will always remember a Saudi student, Mohammed, who struggled with algebra and kept trying.
Which talent would you most like to have?
The real question is, what talent would I have to give up to gain a new one? I’m amazing as I am.
What do you consider your greatest achievement?
Going back to school.
If you were to die and come back as a person or thing, what do you think it would be?
A big cat.
What do people notice first about you?
What does BLUE mean to you?
The freedom to be who I want to be.
