What is your idea of perfect happiness?
Put me on a beach with my toes in the sand, friends by my side, sun beating down (I like the high 70s), and music playing and I’ll be as happy as a clam!
What is your greatest fear?
My greatest fear is losing people who I am close with. It’s not losing someone through death, but fearing that a great friend and I could become strangers. I would hate walking through life without those who I have become very close to.
What trait do you like least about yourself?
I am one of the most indecisive people. Whether it’s a decision on what color shirt to buy or what to eat for dinner, I toss up the choices numerous times before finally selecting and then spend time wondering if I made the right decision.
Which historical figure do you most identify with?
I got a 1 on the AP U.S. History exam. I have never liked history, so I don’t find myself asking this question.
Who is someone you’ve met at Indiana State you’ll remember the rest of your life?
I met one of my best friends through the nursing program. He never failed to help me even if it was out of his way or meant he had to take extra notes. He has always encouraged me and brought laughter through the stresses of nursing school.
Which talent would you most like to have?
I would love to be able to sing. I am not talking about shower-time singing, but the Carrie Underwood-type of singing!
What do you consider your greatest achievement?
I am truly proud of myself for working as hard as I did through school and to graduate No. 1 in my class. I scored my dream job in a Level 1 trauma center in Indianapolis. Looks like hard work really does pay off!
If you were to die and come back as a person or thing, what do you think it would be?
Who wouldn’t want to be a puppy? A puppy gets so much love and can bring a smile to someone who has had bad day. It would also be nice to take multiple naps throughout the day.
What do people notice first about you?
I haven’t had many people tell me what they notice first; however, if someone is talking to me and making eye contact, I often get told how green my eyes are.
