What is your idea of perfect happiness?
My idea of perfect happiness is living out purpose in life and always putting your family first.
What is your greatest fear?
My greatest fear letting myself down when I’ve come so far in my journey. I’ve grown tremendously over the years and going back to where I once was is a nightmare.
What trait do you like least about yourself?
The trait I least like about myself is having anxiety when I have to speak in front of an audience.
Which historical figure do you most identify with?
The historical figure I would say I identify myself most with is Malcolm X. He wasn’t afraid of standing for what he believed in, even if it meant standing alone. I’m not afraid to walk alone.
Who is someone you’ve met at Indiana State you’ll remember the rest of your life?
It’s hard to say, because I’ve met so many wonderful people: Kara Kish, Valerie Craig, Julia Bruce and Kale Walker. Words can’t express how much they have impacted my life over the past three years I’ve been at Indiana State.
Which talent would you most like to have?
I’m talented in my own unique way, so I don’t think about a talent that I would like to have. I love the talents I’ve been blessed with.
What do you consider your greatest achievement?
My greatest achievement is enrolling in college and staying resilient throughout all the bumps in the road on my path. Persevering through the challenges is my greatest achievement. Best is yet to come for me.
If you were to die and come back as a person or thing, what do you think it would be?
If I were to die and come back, I think I would be the same person. I’m here for a purpose.
What do people notice first about you?
I think the first thing people notice is my confident body language.
What does BLUE mean to you?
Blue means success to me. Ever since I came to Indiana State, it’s been nothing but success. Forever I am BLUE!
