Chicago native Corry Smith works as a welcome team coordinator in the Office of Admissions. “However, his real title should be giver because he has a servant’s heart,” said Tracy Osborne of Smith, who is a human development and family studies major interning with Terre Haute Big Brothers, Big Sisters. “His whole life is about serving others. When he walks into a room, he gives everyone a hug and asks them about their day.” He calls Richton Park, Ill., home for now.
When renovations are complete in fall 2015, Normal Hall will be the home of two core units that are integral to the student success mission — University College and the Center for Student Success.
